| Hi Joy,
I just saw Charlie's picture on the website. He looks
so cute! He has grown so much since that photo. He
turns 5 months old tomorrow, and is much calmer now
than the last time I talked to you. He has quit biting
(in a friendly way) and jumping on everybody that
walks in the door. He was pretty wild for awhile!
Charlie is the smartest puppy we've ever had. He
learns things so fast, and is so smart that he makes
sure we actually have a treat in our hand before
choosing whether or not to obey! He is always happy
and ready for fun! He's quite affectionate and enjoys
a lot of attention. He loves going for walks and
meeting new doggy friends. He loves everyone,
especially children. We recently took a trip and
boarded Charlie at a kennel, Happy Tails. Have you
heard of it? They divide the dogs by size, and don't
keep them in separate cages. They have a large
playroom with access to a fenced yard. He had such a
great time there, playing with the other dogs all day.
When we brought him home he slept for 2 days! I think
I will take him there for an occasional day of play -
doggy daycare! We're happy we found such a place. As
you can tell, we are so in love with our little
Irishman, and would be glad to talk to anyone
considering adoption. I'm surprised that more people
don't own them, as they are a lot of fun and really do
not shed AT ALL. Amazing! Take care, Judy Ruby |

. .Our trip to Florida was great. He did well on
the plane rides and, as usual, was a big hit at
the airports. People just stop us all the time
to fuss over him! He did well with the flights
and enjoyed the scenes of Florida. He loved to
dig in the wet sand on the beach. He liked the
ocean as long as the waves weren't too big. He
liked to try to catch lizards in our backyard
there too. . ."

". . .We are also leashing him in the house now to show him was is and is not acceptable by grabbing onto the leash when we have to. He and I have a tradition, after the boys' morning walk and Doug leaves for work. Tugger and I take a nap then, I'm on the couch and Tugger is on the floor. He sleeps for as long as I do, and doesn't move until I do. This morning he was playing outside and then he sat down by the back door and stayed there, as if to say, "I'm ready for my nap, Mommy!"
So that's the update. Thanks for getting back to us about the ears. Hope all is going great for you. Enjoy your day.
